 doubt its going to be much power difference but it sure will look andsound better , 3-4 inches is what i would cut depending on the model ,the factory length looks stupid long

| yep, 3 or 4 inches. the furthest you could go would be the mounting bracket located on top of the pipe....

| her mounting bracket is on the bottom of da pipe. check out my family pics and u will see. i think ant shorter and it would look a little funky
