oooh... ur the one responsible for digging up that thread.. well then I shall thank you!... with nothing better to do and me waiting for my other parts I'm about to go attempt this with my banshee silencers.....

soo..... anyone have any silencers forsale? 90% chance I'm about to ruin mine!!!

and yeah if the blaster silencer is similar i can see how it would be simple..

hahah... weird! i didnt know there was a thread on this.... i did this to my blasters turbins core 2 a year ago.... lookes awsoem! gives you more low end, and adds a better sound. its deeper then the regular turbin core 2.... but the main reason i did it was because i would hit the silencer when doing wheelies. that thing was so damn long, and looked dumb!!!! works and looks great now... weird that i log on and see this thread. 02yamahablaster was just at my house, and we were talking aboyt this.... like a half hour ago.... lol......

lol such a simple idea it's one of those things you see or fail to even think about and it's like "DUH!" glad that some people sene and and thought "hmm.. thats ugly.. lets shorten it"

Flotek were you impressed/happy with it? after you had it like that for awhile?

im happyt with it... looks sweet! works good! it looks like it belongs on the bike! if you dont shorten it, its way too long and looks dumb. it looks like its not the right muffler.... you can do this with a hacksaw, and a drill with a 1/4" bit, it should take you like 20 minutes!

cool.. I think this will be something i do like tommorrow if im bored idk.. lol im thinking about it.. sounds simple enough I just don't know if I want to mod it or not ..

Yeah it looks real good on the Blaster. I'll try to get around to cutting mine tomorrow.

So how much should you cut off?Someone needs to see how long a shorty is on like a 125 0r 250 and go from there.
