Need help finding this part

Well my blaster had no compression and I found out what it was. I have no idea what it is actually called but it is the kick start gear. If anyone could help me find this well random part somewhere please help me out as quick as possible I want to do some hill climbs already.

So your saying that the kick start gear is stripped and when you kick the motor over it doesn't turn the motor over it just slips? The best place to find that would be ebay. You will probably have to buy a whole kickstart assembly. If you baught that gear from Yamaha it would be a forturne probably. Just check on eBay and good luck.

If by chance there is a gear between the kick start gear and the clutch basket and thats what your talking about then I don't know where you will get that. eBay is the best place but I wouldn't know what to search for.

well I found the part my dad showed me finally it is broke in half ill get some pics up tomorrow after work Id do it now but im going to work in a few min.

ive always found it good to know how much a new one will cost so i dont over pay, seen it many times on ebay when buying tools and stuff, not sure which one u want but heres the page, may beable to find cheeper but its a good starting place
