Prob. Solved NEED HELP FINDING THIS GEAR.

Ok recently I have had a problem with my compression. My quad wouldn't start so my dad took it apart and well showed me this gear that was snapped in half. I could guess this would be the problem. the quad had compression when it was in gear also.

Well I took some pics of this part and would like it if someone could show me where to get it or what exactly it is. Thanks

Just had the same thing happen the other day.Its the gear on the back of
clutch basket.I think you have to get another clutch basket.I just put the
basket on 2 months ago.Snap ring came off washer went between the gears.
Look for something that came off.That gear is for kick starter,they just dont
break kicking over.Something got between those gears.I'm going to take gear
off another basket.

Although it does kind of look like the gear on the back of the clutch basket. I cant tell what your are pointing at in the first pic

Its the gear on clutch basket. Look at picture.Don't know if you can just buy
gear.The one on right has broken gear just like yours
