NICE carb. do u plan on any engine mods in the future?port work ect? that will work well with what u have now or ported. u would make more top end on ported with larger but im sure u are more interested in drivability than top end power. good choice

i dont care whether its a mikuni or keihin. project blaster has the same carb but it doesn't come with the throttle cable. im just hoping that with this carb i can get a little better mid range. my quad feels good up top, but i just feels ok in the mid range. i want a bolt-on thats gonna make me some torque. hopefully this is the right mod for what i want

well have you tried both carbs before you go saying you dont care which one you have. In my experience the miknuni's are very hard to jet perfectly and once you do they change often. The keihins seem to have more throttle responce and are much easier to jet. but its your choice.

i meant whichever would work best with my setup, i was trying to get info on both, most ppl just say that they don't like either but never list why. so i guess i can look for a keihin one. the only reason i was gonna go with the cpw was cuz it was 30mm which seemed bout the right size. but i can only fine keihin 28mm and 33mm. nothing in between. so i have to mod up if im gonna get a keihin

edit: i kno i can get a 28mm tapered/bored but i'd rather just get a ready to bolt up carb

thanks

dude ur best bet is to get a jet kit for the stock carb and get some port work. u would be much happier and there will lots of room for improvment
