| After months of waiting for parts and painting etc, etc. I finally got my blaster running. Finished tonight at 10:30pm and it took about 5 kicks and started I ran it up and down the road, but couldn't push it hard b/c no street lights in the poconos. Anyway its now time to fine tune it. My mods are in the signature below. I have the air fuel on the carb turned out 3 times and I'm playing with the idle but doesn't seem to be working. I'll update you tomorrow on how it is in the daylight Thanks everyone for you responses and flotek for the mods and rjatv for some of my parts

| I'm pretty sure the pilot was changed I ordered a carb rebuild kit and change the main pilot. So your saying i should screw my air/fuel in all the way and back it out 2 1/2 turns?

| if u have the air screw turned out more than 2 1/2 turns u need a smaller pilot jet. that is the small one. maybe u need to put the stock one back in.

| I have a #30 pilot and a 300 main. So you think when I get home I should try backing it out just 1 1/2 to 2 and if its not right go smalller on the pilot?

| yes put the stock pilot back in. if it is out more than 2 1\2 from all the way seated the pilot is too large. if its in more than 1/2 it is too small.always start WITH IT all the way in. and never turn more than 1 screw or change more than one thing before testing.one at a time!! otherwise it will take u for ever not knowing if eacch change is for the better or worse

| shit i almost blew the thing up I got home and rode it and it seemed pretty good but no top end it bogged alot. So I screwed the air/fuel all the way in so it was pretty much flush with the carb then backed it out 1 full turn and kicked it over. It was running then started revving real high and wouldn't shut off i ended up killing it by pulling out the choke. any ideas

| UPDATE: Ok I set it back to what i had it at last night which is 3 turns and I actually got it to idle good so i took it for a spin and the powerband kicks in then it bogs down in every gear I can't even pop a wheelie its bogging so bad. So then i stop and it starts revving crazy again and I have to pull the choke out and ride it with the choke open. ANY IDEAS?
