I hate mechanical brakes!!!! Ive only ridden a 03 Blaster but Im sure it would suck having them on the front, never knew though that one side would lock up, that could get scary.

Its actually not to bad when you get used to tthe quad you learn how far to pull ur breaks and shit...and when one side locks up that means you have to adjust them. I've got mine set for one side grabbig before the other does...cauuse on the road when I do dohnuts I have one tire grabbing ad the other isn't so it pivots around on that one tire...pretty fun

Unfortunately, adjusting one or the other side works great, but only on paper. They still screw up a very short time later. But I have learned the enjoyment of a one-wheel cookie!!!!

Beach balls suck!! We've popped 3 in the last couple days. I'm gonna go down to the sports shop and see if I can find a heavier duty ball. We're having way too much fun with this game. The only thing that sucks about a heavier ball is it might hurt a bit if you get slapped with it. Oh well, all in good fun. Hey, is this a new sport??????????? Maybe we can get chicks in bikinis to try it!!!!!!!!

Everything bolts up except the upper blaster a-arm. Blaster upper arm has straight ball joint (no tapper) and Banshee spindle has tappered hole. Previos post suggested drill upper Banshee spindle to fit Blaster upper ball joint, this may work but I did mine differently.
I cut off upper Blaster ball joints, bought Heim Ball joints from American Star. Used hole saw and drill press to drill proper location and angle (30 degrees) and welded new heim ball joints to Blaster upper arm. Now I can adjust the camber on front wheels. We just came back from the dunes and they work very well. I reconfigured the stock banshee brakes lines to work but will get some braided lines made, Banshee brakes lines are a little to long. I bolted the 3 way splitter from the banshee to the steering stem clamp on the blaster.

That's a hell of a good idea! I've never seen anybody actually modify the stock A-arm with heim ends... if you have the fabrication skills that certainly sounds like the way to go.

One question, how do you lock the J-arm spindles on the blaster a-arms? The Blaster I have has a pinch-type setup that holds the ball joint in,where the banshee has a regular press-fit with a nut....I just stopped scratching my head and came here to look for the right answer! ,that and the Banshee A-arms dont bolt up...I have a pile of parts sitting out there, and nothing lines up aarrgghh!!! (The Banshee axle did go in no problem though)

Default BAnshee front hydros on blaster stock arms

I found out that banshee front hydros go on blaster arms but I ehard that you have to machine the ball joints to fit? What kind of machining do you got to have done? I love my blaster, but those brakes suck, and I have no rear brakes ATM cuz those were F%^KED, so I need some info on adding banshee hydros to my front end, and is it possible to get the rear set up onto my rear end too?

The blaster ball joints stay stock, but the banshee spindles need to be reemed out to fit.

The banshee rear brake assembly will work too, but you've got to fabricate mounts for the caliper, master, and linkage. It's probably easier to buy a brake kit from Trenga, BlasterZone, or East Coast ATV. They're expensive but VERY MUCH worth the investment.
