DIY Stock TORS Idle Screw I figured out a way to actually make your tors cap idle screw work.
Tools Needed
Drill bit and tap of your choice
Bolt to fit the drilled and tapped hole and bolt at least 5in long
Little time and the need for a good idle
Step 1: Unscrew cover on tors cap on the side that the original "idle screw" is on
Step 2: Rip out switch and the original screw with pliers *YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REPLACE THIS!!!! SO DO AT OWN RISK*
Step 3: Drill and tap hole where idle screw used to be to accomodate new bolt
Step 4: Cut the 2 wires and either solder together or just tape together
Step 5: Reinstall cover and start bike up
Step 6: Start adjusting by screwing bolt out until it isnt hitting the little cable pull inside and work your way by screwing the bolt in to open the throttle
Step 7: MAke sure you adjust idle when bike is warm and jetted properly and ENJOY
*REMEMBER AT LOW SPEEDS AND IDLE OIL WILL BUILD UP IN CASE AND CAUSE SMOKE TO PLUME WHEN U HIT THE THROTTLE SO DONT LEAVE IT IDLING FOR LIKE HALF AN HOUR*
IF anyone actually does this please send pics of finished result and tell me how it works. My motor isnt back yet and so I cannot test this.
BE WARNED THIS HAS NOT BEEN TESTED YET!!!!
