hey everyone!I just got 98 blaster that had a big bore kit on it that the piston was bad so i put the stock jug and piston back on for now,here is the problem its a dog down low,it has a pro circuit pipe,fmf pipe,34 mm kehin carb jetted at 160 some aftermarket alum intake and kn conical filter and v force reeds and intake,I plan on putting big bore back on just trying to learn how to tune the combo before i sink money back into it.It seeems to kinda run rough at part throttle unless you got it loaded against the motor or revving it.This whole 2 stroke thing is new to me im used to my drag car that is just an old holley and some compression ha ha.Any help you guys give would be great.

only thing that i can think of at this moment is that for one its a blaster and for two you may be running a pipe for top end which wont help the bottom end at all, the fmf pipe is it a fatty or what?

i believe its a fatty the sticker doesnt say its just really loud

all two strokes are loud, on the pipe it should say, the pipe on my lt says fatty gold series, might have to take it off to find it

pro circuit platinum on chamber pipe and fmf 2 on the silencer,also what ratio should i mix the fuel 32.1 or 40.1 etc?

Do a compression check and make sure your air filter is clean. It's also possible that your silencer could be clogged up, it's not likely but it is possible, it happened to me once on an old PE175, pull the silencer off and see if it has more power, could be alot of things but i'm just givin ya some ideas from my experience. I think either of those ratios you mentioned should be fine, personally I run 32:1 others will say 40:1.

I'd check jetting...and with such a big carb and a low volume (no big bore kit) you ain't gonna have much bottom end but she will scream on the top end

it runs fine once you get her moving,this bike has alot of good stuff the more i look at the receipts works shocks,dirt digger clutch,vitos adj stator,some kind of aftermarket plastic he bought on ebay the nose and headlight look like a 2003,
I need a place to buy the big bore piston give me some ideas the jug and head are vitos that came off of it.
