Angry blasted blaster
just bought 98 blaster for my son it will not rev or idle did on the basics carb , gas , compression , spark plug everything is fine could tors be a problem quads are new for me always ride dirt bikes this is the first quad we ever owned just need steered in right direction.

TORS could be an issue...your jetting could be off also. Is it stock? What main jet size are you using?

Need To Check Jet Size Only Cleaned Carb Never Thought It Would Be A Problem This Quad Is Stock But Has Fmf Pipe , This Has Been Worked On By Kids Some Wire Choppage Has Been Done.trying To Repair There Damage Bought For A Good Price Because They Could Not Get It To Run.

that could be an issue. Get a manual for it at your local fleet farm...or farm and fleet....or even a yamaha dealership....and check over all the wiring. or you can download the entire manual on here. Go over everythign that is cut and make sure its not contradicting anything else

we'll get er...to run john..check all the simple stuff firrst...fresh gas..plug...compression....air leaks...carb....filter..reeds...tors...(tors is a bitch on the blister...aka blatser)...check the wiring real well.....if you got 100+ comp...it should run...report back...
