Default Blaster-Trail riding?

Hey guys..Not all that familiar yet with my new blaster..

Am i going to be able to trail ride at low speeds with this thing at all?

Being air cooled and 2 stroke i assume it wont work too well.. but looking for input from experienced riders.

hmmm. ok, for some reason i thought the blaster being air cooled and 2 stroke needed to constantly be going fast or not going at all. is there a problem with them over heating? and are there any symptoms i can look for if it is over heating this spring/summer?

Before i had all my mods i could ride 8 hours a day and not have a worry in the world about overheating. If your really worried about it to go www.vitosperformance.net/BLASTER.HTM and get cooling scoops. They work and they look good.

The Blaster is just about the best entry level quad ever built, be it 2 or 4 stroke. A very capable trail quad, duner, mountain climber, you name it. I have 3. Two are close to stock and one is mildly built. All 3 perform at every task me or my kids throw at them. The easiest thing going on the Blaster is, if riding full throttle go up a tooth on the front sprocket, if climbing the hills go back down a tooth(stock size). Really, a very good, very competitive, very moddable machine. An excellant choice.

Yeah, i agree..seems like a really nice quad..its been around for along time.
I see that Yamaha is calling thier 06 blaster thier "last model year"...pretty sad considering how good its done for them.. I wonder if after they stop making them if the price of blasters and blaster parts will sky rocket?
