Default hope this is simple...

Will disconecting the headlight on my 99 blaster keep the bike from starting?

My bike wont start!...was starting 1-2 kicks in the cold w.out no problems b4 i disconected the headlight to install 2003 front nose plastic...now im kicking all day with nothing.

dosnt even look like i have spark... the only other thing i did was re-route where the key goes..it was on the handle bars but with the 03 plastic it on the side fender...but i didnt have to disconect anything for that, it was long enough.

Thanks!

Weve all done that I think but it is a matter of whether or not we will admit it . The gas thing that gets me almost every time . I took my buddies crappy banshee for a spin the other day ( Im not dogging banshees his just really is crappy ) I went to jump about a 25 foot double on something with half the torque Im used to and the thing runs out of gas about halfway up the ramp boy did I feel stupid . Everyone had a good laugh and no harm done . Hey 98Blaster what do you want for that tri-z?

I'm so glad other people have done that before hehe. I think I've done everything said here at least a hundred times each. But the worst one was when I didn't turn the gas on and my cuz on his bike almost ran into me goin like 40 in a subdivision. Not cool. But didn't really matter anyways, because on the way back from a different piece of land the throttle stuck on his bike and he ran into my quad at about 40 again. On the gravel. To make things worse he grabbed the front brake and endoes face first. Huge hole in his elbow and his visor was in a million pieces. His handlebars were bent into pretty much a perfect V . I'm guessin some of you have been there too.
