Default blaster 490 project

hi, does one have any pic's or info on putting a yz 490 engine in a blaster frame? im just starting but it seems very! easy but i just got done biulding my 300ex with 400ex plastics a arms z400 front shocks 660 raptor rear shock and a kawasaki ninja 250r engine specs ( water cooled twin cylinder 8 valves 6 speed) not super bad but very fun for a four stroke!! and it looks as it was meant to be on the frame no rigging!...since the pic the red one now has polished duel cobra exhaust pipes smaller 21' front maxxis tires and new smooth side panels with the ceet flame s and black tank cover. im still thinking of the blasters color all black or black and red and widened and made longer. thanks

Be careful with the gas tank, it may look like it clears but it will melt after awhile from the heat of the head. You will need to shim it up just a little. Oh yeah I've seen it happen.

Boys Ive been working on the same thing as you just waiting on the rest of my 490 parts to come in . It took a swim in about a 2 foot deep mudhole so Ive had to rebuild it . Everything seems to work out good the thing I am looking at some of you may know the answer to is there any way to use the blaster pipe and just modify the flange / mounting end of the pipe . Im a very competent welder thats no problem Im just wondering about the right backpressure and things like that this might just have to be one of those trial and error things . Oh yeah I wasnt talking about a stock blaster pipe Ill find an aftermarket one . Ill try to get some pics of my rolling chassis up for yall to look at . I used stock 2005 Raptor 660 a-arms on mine to put it on the ground a little better .
