Default big bore vs. port and polish witch one is better? plze read before answering

i have a few questions and plze answer these:
1. what is the diffrence from port and polish and big bore ( vito's big bore kit with cylonder head )
2. how much horses does the big bore have and how many horses does the port and polish have
3. witch would u perfer any way
4. ware are the best places to get this done
5. ware is the cheapest place to get it done
6. what problems will i have ( if i do have any problems ) between the 2
7. will i need to run higher octane with the port and polish?

thanks you and i know its a stupid queston but can u please anwer these in number order with the corasponding numbers

p.s ~ plze check my WTB (want to buy ) thred.... you might have something

u can have a big bore ported motor...porting is making the intake and exhuast ports bigger and big bore is a bigger piston and cylinder

If your referring to simply a big bore kit vs. port and polish alone...the port and polish will blow the big bore away....bigtime! 70ish HP on a stock stroke Banshee is pretty easy to come by with good porting and pipes. Big bore by itself is simply a waste of time and money... big bore with porting though?..... the story changes fast ...Jim

I've got a 4mm stroker crank....it was alot cheaper than the big bore kit my buddy got, and I'm sure we are performing about the same...but don't quote me on this yet, him and I havn't ridden togather since I"ve got mine running

Good point Bu, port it first and work your way up. I've got the ported stroker and no counter balancer, and this blaster seariously moves
