| Since your Blaster is a 2005 I'm assuming it still has the stock pegs, metal foot guards, and plastic heel guards on it. You can get nerf bars that keep all that stuff and you wouldn't have to worry about getting your foot caught underneath your tire. Believe me, it hurts when you run over your foot. I know from personal experience. I didn't break anything, but my leg hurt for a while. I jumped and landed sideways. This caused my right hand to come off of the bars and my right foot to come off of the pegs and there was nothing I could do to avoid getting my foot ran over. It happened to quick. You never know when something is gonna happen so I'd have some kind of heel guards whether they be the stock ones or aftermarket ones.

| Look around, a few companies made them where you don't have to remove the stock foot guards, and some come with different guards. I ran my right leg over also, twisted the knee and blead through 4 bandaids in one night....i was riding 2 days later but I definatly slowed down...
