Default 800 renegade

My boss just purchased a new renegade 800. It is very big and bulky, but it is fast. It will run 77 mph and bust out on the rev limiter. He put it on a dyno and it did 47 horespower to the back tires and the dyno read 80 mph. We have raced it against a 450r, lt450r, kfx 700 and mild built banshee. The renegade has beaten all of them so far. He is going to the 300 ft dirt track this saturday for the race. We will see how it fair's against some nice built bikes. All the races we run were on the road, so traction wouldnt be a problem. The renegade leaves hard every time in the road or the dirt, and it still has the 4x4 option for more traction.

my neihbor has one of those and theyre pretty fast but it really all depends on the rider because around his 100 acre property i can smoke him with my blaster (light weight and easy to move around) but across the feild its no match i might aswell put a rope on it and have him drag me lol. havnt yet got to try it vs my banshee he is on vaction austraila or somthing idk, rich people

there is a outlander 400 xt sittin in my garage that does 65 and that is stock

I don't know about the 800's but a buddy of mine heckled me into racing his Kawa 750 vs my Blaster. This was when it was just a stock 28 year old YZ400. I smoked him. He didn't even give excusses just wanted to ride mine.

I used to ride with a bunch of 4x4's and at the time the fastest one was a 750 brute with a dyna ignition and exhaust. I could take him easily. I even messed up a couple times and didn't have a problem. Now my friend has had a renegade for about a year now and it is fast as hell for its size. It will surprise you for sure. He would walk away from me but once I put on my dyna igntion its even. Id say we split most races so now its about the rider not the quad. For long trail rides its comfortable as hell. I would never fork that kind of money over though. In a year or so I am gonna get a used grizzly for the long winter rides. I will never get rid of my R though.

Those big 4 poke quads have their place. Mostly because their 4 wheel drive. My buddy goes every year on a Hatfield-McCoy trail ride. He said my quad my 426 wouldn't make it without 4 wheel drive.
