Hey everyone i have a 1990 ski-doo mach 1 with a RAVE 583CC motor it has 385 miles on it and i just did a compression check on it today and came back 160 PSI on the dot in each. there are no mods done to this and i was just wondering if this is close to stock or higher than stock compression...

583s have alot of compression i dont know what the comp. readings on mine is but i bet 160 is about stock. Milling the head down will raise the compression but if the sled only has 385 miles on it then I bet its a stock sled.

^ Yea My dad bought it new in 1990 road it once and then it sat for 13 years then i bought it of him about 4 years ago and only road it a few times.
