Default My newer new project

I'm thinkin orange trailing arm to match the stripes on teh hood/seat, baby blue tie rods/steering arm, polished aluminum motor with a red pipe and 5 or 6 street force ground effects. All I can really find for easy motor mods is a carbon fiber rotary valve and its already got one. Noone makes an aftermarket pipe for it.. youd have to have one custom made which is $$.

When that sled was mine the first time when that picture was taken that was like seriously the best riding around here ever. There was a ton of snow along with that powder on top of it. That picture was taken at 5AM. Me and my friends went out riding around 11 PM and didnt come home till then.

I'm hoping to buy my aunt's boyfriend's sled and restore it. Might take a while for me to get money for parts, etc,etc but if it gets done probably next year I hope we get some damn snow!! There's a couple of inches here now though

I'm not even sure, but I really want a sled. And he'll probably sell it really cheap because it doesn't even run. I have to look into it some more

Personally I think its more fun to ride a vintage 70s muscle sled around a lake than it is to ride a newer sled around on a lake. There nothing like looking right at the powerhouse of a larger displacement motor that didnt really have strict DB levels to comply with. I fixed my first ski-doo elan when i was around 5 when my dad tought me how to unstick a needle valve on a tillotson carb. and ive been into fixing/restoring them ever since. The nice thing about the older ones is that there isnt a mess of digital fuel management and a complex wiring harness and all that crap just simple stuff that, with some basic knowledge of motors, you can do yourself at your house instead of bringing it to a mechanic.

thats just like the older trucks/cars it was plain and simple, but look under the hood of a new car or truck and you cant hardly see the engine for all the crap in the way
