I still dont see how you compare one sled to another by how fast it will go across a lake stock in a straight line. That proves nothing at all but one is faster than another. Try racing that mxz700 in the trails and see how you make out with equally skilled riders. The polaris could keep up but there wouldnt be anything at all left to those crap shocks they come with and the rider would be sore for a month if there were any bumps which there usually are.

i am reffering to trail riding...and those shocks realy arnt bad at all...and im getting the same sled as my bro pretty soon once my dad gets an 800 xcr then i get his...otherwise he beat it in acceleration and cornering and top end and everything else besides jumping but that guy was crazy! lol so it beats it on trail and lake.

Try putting 2 equally skilled riders on the sleds not some ass thats going to run into someone head on if he meets on the trail and someone thats not very good at riding. Ive seen another bad side of polaris today their cooling sucks major ass. We were ridin trails for a few hours today and there was an indy trail, one of those ugly ass edge x's and an indy 500 riding with a yamaha srx, a skidoo legend 700 and my 600 mxz. The edgex and the indy500 both overheated and took almost 45 minutes to cool back off to a point where you could safely run them and they continued to overheat because its about 45 degrees outside but theres still snow. The indy trail was running pretty hot and the legend was starting to warm up when we were going slow but none of the other sleds besides the 2 polarises got into the red on the temp.

thats because the snow wasnt gettin into the tunnel and cooling it off it prolly wasnt the engines cooling it was just the natural cooling that comes from the snow to cool it off...to prevent it jump into a ditch full of snow.

yea the guy on the ski-doo was nuts hes jumpin mabvy 35ft off of just a lil 3ft kicker onto the ice track which its like 30ft wide and hes clearing the whole thing and then some but you should have felt his shocks after that they were like sponges really really soft sponges.

Try a rev with ryde fx shocks that are dialed in to the rider and an expierenced rider i think youll see different. I bet a firecat f7 would beat it too those are nasty sleds in the trails. The sleds were overheating there arent any ditches full of snow its just about 2 inches of slushy snow the polaris's radiators suck major ass i was looking at them the radiating fins are tiny. I hope they at least fixed that in the past few years.

no its the lack of snow thats why it was overheating my dad had the same problem up north during christmas...the trails were ice so the snow couldnt cool down the tunnel...yea and if you didnt notice the pro x is a race sled modified to go through tight corners and accelerate out of corners...like i said its the guy with the bigger balls that will win.

35ft is a little far carr and he wasnt clearing the so called "30ft." gap he was short like 5ft. and the 440 pro x jumped farther than that and being smart by jumping from ice to snow not snow to ice which will mess up the shocks pretty good.
