| I was toolin around with one in maine. Theyre just as good of a trail sled as say a mxz REV unless you start to get into real tight windey trails. Id say theyre actually about the same. I know on a lake the one i was riding had some clutch work and it was dialed in to perfection was accelerating real hard until about 110 mph then it started to ease off and it topped out around the 125mph to 130mph range i wasnt really able to pinpoint where the gauge was but im assuming probably 127 but its damn fast. I wouldnt want to throw a bearing at that speed or throw one on my sled at 130+ mph I never really thought about something like that but it would definetly suck.

| By the way the best trail sled for the tight trails that i stated above (in my opinion) would have to be the mxzREV380 or the mxzREV550 both fan cooled sleds. Theyre incredibly light 2 of the guys that i went to maine had 2 550s and those things are so nice to ride because theres no weight at all to muscle around if you start hittin icy corners (alot of underlaying ice where i was) at 30 or 40 mph. Banshee you should take one for a spin if you can I think you would like it if you dont have alot of big open trails. The 550s only top out at around 75 or 80 mph. The 380s will pull around 65 or 70.

| First Maine trails don't coun't as Trails they are Highways. So to say the MachZ is good on the trails is the wrong statement until you have ridden it in Northern NH. First off the extra length to the sled makes it suck in the bumps just like the Renegade does. Second the shocks that come stock SUCK. So I don't understand how you can say the MachZ is a good trail sled. As for the 380 and 550 Fan. you can just get a 600H.ORev and get more power and very little weight gain. The 380 dry weight 410lbs and the 550 dry weight of 430lbs compared to an 800Rev is 464lbs. 30 to 50lbs is not going to make me want an air cooled sled that tops at 70-80. I can man handle my REV600 all over the trails I am probably going to trade up to the 800 for next year not sure yet though.

| I never said they were good in bumps. The mxz renegade is by far the best riding trail sled in bumps. Its a real agresseive sled you just have to dial in the suspension and upgrade the shocks to get the full out of it. I used to think about a renegade like you do they suck in bumps because of the longer track then I rode one with the right suspension setup and it absorbs them up like no tommorow. My next sled is probably going to be a mxz renegade 800. I like the fan cooled sleds to toy around with because its less maintainence and one less thing to go wrong actually its a bunch less things to go wrong (water pump, radiators getting punctured, coolant leaks but Ive never had a problem except a water pump. I know alot of people have punctured radiators because of studs and bottoming out hard especially on the s-2000 chassis. And the dry weight thing the 550 would actually weigh closer to 500 lbs full of gas and oil and the 800 would weigh closer to 575 or 600 pounds not that its a big difference but they do get heavier loaded with liquid. Considering gasoline weights 6.22 pounds at 72 degrees F and whatever coolant weighs (its more than gasoline).

| Look at this thing its a 300cc mini rev that ski-doo is going to sell for around 4,000$ in a few years maybe next year. It sounds like a little fun thing to have. http://www.ridefreestyle.com/en-US/index_en_us.html

| You have fun with that Renegade I rather have the MXZ REV no long track shit. to much extra behind the sled for me. If you want something to play on check out http://www.ridefreestyle.com/ they say it will be priced around $3500 to $4000.
