Default Reccomendations needed for upgrades!

hey im new to snowmobiling, me and my dad just got a couple of sleds, a 2003 mxz 600 HO rev the James Bond edition, and a 2001 formula 600, the 03 has a blacked out hood and side paneling so the only 007 thing is a little badge on the seat (so not too goddy). we went for the first ride this friday, the formula handled well (in my absolutly non-educated opinion) but the rev understeered like crazy, there wasnt alot of snow yet and it was my like first time riding lol so i wasnt sure if there was a problem until my uncle pointed out that it had no carbides, just an upide down U shaped ski. so i need RECOMENDED CARBIDES for all around riding.

Another thing is on the REV the tach and speedo dont work. when i fire up the sled the speedo goes all the way up and then down then immediatly shoots to 30 km/h and the didgital thing underneeth it says scale. once you get moving the tach is always at zero and the speedo stays at 30 km/h, i was thinking that there was a cable disconected until i noteced that it does a startup sequence. The sleds didnt come with owners manuals so I have no clue whats wrong.

Lastly like any other speedfreak i want to go faster!!, so i figure air fuel and exhaust are the best places to star, what to you guys RECCOMEND for those areas on both sleds......... BTW SORRY ABOUT THE LONG WINDED MESSAGE

Sounds to me like your gauges are messed up because if I remember correctly they are digital gauges so there is no cable. I would check all your connections in to the gauges and maybe unplug them and plug them back in to see if that helps if not you might need new gauges

whatever carbides you get..make sure you get 2 pairs instead of one...because on the rev skis each ski has dual carbides
