Why did Bombardier come out with the DS-650? They are probably the most technologicly advanced company when it comes to 2-strokes and probably the only company still putting R&D into 2-strokes.

Wouldn't it be sweet to see them come out with a 1000cc ATV. Even just taking the new REV chassis put rear swing-arm and axle put some tires on the front because they are already a-arms just need spindals and brakes the slap a front tire on it. That would be a sweet ATV Probably need to mod some other stuff but it would be fast I am sure. Oh yeah and just keep the clutch and have the secondary have a sprocket that would be your front sprocket go back to your rear sprocket. this way you would have the crazy off the line speed that sleds are known for make a great drag ATV.

Too bad that mach Z motor is so expensive. My grandfather owns a boat marina in otis ma. and he does business with bombardier so he might be able to get the chassis and motor for the factory direct price. Thatd be sweet if someone could pull enough money together and build something like that.

I honestly think that 2-strokes will eventually make a comback. There are quiet a few colleges that have designed EPA efficient engines...its only a matter of time now.

Bombardier already has ski doo motors that excede the EPA regulations. I honestly dont think Bombardier will ever go fully 4 stroke.

they best not get rid of 2strokes!!! i dont care if they gotta rig a catalitic converter up to it....they better keep them. and make them all powervalved. and come stock with a full out drag port and shove quads like the 450r and yfz450 back in their 4 stroke crap hole.....live on 2 strokes lol. sorry if its a lil dramatic

Actually, Bombardier's next bike in the make will be along the 450cc line. They have been working on it since last year.
I don't think they'll go 2-stroke in the quads due to all the new laws and regulations.

we should go to a big 4-poke rally or something then start tearin it up and show them what 2-stroke is all about how bout that. and yea ski-doo will be 2-stroke unlike yamaha and there dumb rx-1 4-joke

about the bombardier quad, i got a magazine called all terrain vehicle and it was sayin that "BRP's Etec 2-stroke technology developed and in use on Evinrude outboards, is said to be clamped into a pure sport prototype in the 400-500cc range"
