im sorry if this is in the wrong tread. i have a keihin carb and it a 28mm i want to put on a 244cc motor on a golf cart, what woulod i have to do? would it work? the stock is 18mm and nonajustable thats why i got this carb. any input?

hrm... you would have to do a whole lot of jetting.... as well as a big tank... maybe..

the carb has like 5 jets where my mikuni has like 3... wtf

5 jets huh?? all 2 stroke carbs that i;ve ever opened up ahve 2... a pilot and a main

what keihin carb is it? should have two... unless your counting the air ajustment as a jet..... or are you talking about the number between jets? (like 180, 175)

i think he meant sizes but if he did, there's alot more than 5

and to from an 18mm to a 28mm, yer gonna have to get a new intake and do alot of motor work. . . . i don't even know if yer talking about a 2 stroke or a 4stroke but i'm guessing 2cycle. . . . so portwork, head work, diff exhaust, (are there reeds?) and do it to the max if yer gonna go up 10mm for yer carb. . . . . there's other stuff you could do too. . . . stroker crank. . . . big bore. . . . whatever. . . .

you'll prolly have to jet lean too. . . . .

guys its a fing golf acart it has a reed valve its old but yeah like latye 80s, 2 stoke.... and idk its confusing

as long as it will fit in your intake boot I would slap it in there jetting is easy probly only have to change the main jet

There saying that because you got way to big of a carb..... way to big.

well, not all 2strokes are reed valved.. . that's also why i asked
