Default PowerJet?

I was looking at an adjustable powerjet kit on ebay. Anyone have any experience with these? Is it a worthwhile mod?

well it works for people on gas also, all it does is make it easier to tune the motor

but for alky, it allowes twice more fuel to flow which the alky motor's needs

my alky packard lectron has one, i just gotta wait till next summer till i switch over

I imagine for all the hassle...you could just as easily throw on a bigger carb.

i imagine if you had an air/ fuel meter to tune it yo u could fill in any lean spots in your powerband with a powerjet . the thing is the 3 main jetting circuits in a carb (needle, main, pilot)all kind of overlap each other and when setup right should not need auxilary split main powerjet to supply the correct amounts, now i could totally see how alky applications would benefit for mone because of the added thirst (for lack of a better term)a motor needs when running it .
