Default Carb question

Allright, I will start off with, I know very little about two strokes. I am a master of 4 strokes but not the simple twos. The question is this, I recently got a '92 250 quadracer. The trans was bad so I figured I would tear this thing all the way down and re-build everything. When I took the motor apart, the piston is brand new and says +1.50mm on it with a bunch of other numbers. The carb was dirty so I took it apart to clean it. I remembered that someody gave me a carb a few years ago. Turns out it is a Mikuni. Now the one thats on the quad I am sure it is stock. The other one has a round cap on top where the cable goes in. The throat is oval shaped with a round slide. The only munbers I can see on it are

W5 and V31
X1 2

The carb thats on the quad does not have any numbers at all that I can see.
The one with the numbers in a good 1/4 inch bigger on the intake side. Same on the inlet side.

Wold this make me run better? Would it be beneficial for me to use this? It does have an FMF gold series pipe.

Thanks for your help guys!!!!

The W5 X1 was on one side and the V31 2 was on the other side.

Nice, you are not that far from me then. You ever go to Slippery Rock dunes? Went there three times, used to be fun but the place is run completely wrong.
