Default alky carb questions

Ok guys, Ive done some research on the alky carb that came with my zilla. I origanally thought it was a reworked stock carb. Well its a Mikuni TM 38 - 85 from ftz racing, I think. What I really need to know is, what mods if any are needed to run a fuel pump on this carb? What kind of pump do you recommend? FTZ sells a diaphram pump for 50 bucks. Anyone know how they are to install?

I really want to put this back on the meth but, dont feel like burning up pistons like the guy I got it from lol. The first owner said he had the carb setup for 300ft drags, which explains why he didnt use a pump. I'll be running 500ft. Would a pingle and a larger bowl be sufficient and if so, does anyone know if someone makes larger bowls for a mikuni?

fiveonick would be a good one to ask also dajogerjr knows alky setups well ,
i would atleast think about getting a pingle and a large capacity bowl..now the fuel pump migth be overkill because i bet theres a way around it and still be reliable for the supply .another powerjet can be added ,alky can be run really fat and still perform well while mainitaing safety ,id find out wha t size they drilled it for and run it fat ,an EGT wil l tell you for certain and really help dial it in.

ohh I just assumed BBDR when I saw 500ft lol. yeah it would be nice to see you out here at least for Nationals and States. just get ahold of matt, I'm sure he'd bring you down to a few races. I'd like to see that zilla run with some banshee's.
