thanks for the differing opinions you guys, that gave me quit a bit to think about, such as air flow and life of slide on the chrome ones whats the difference in the PWK verses air striker?or are they the same,I'd rather have low to mid power I think for technical and steep hills thanks for the great advice once again! I think one of these three were talking about are my best bet!

Default almost bearable

I just put my leanest jet in a 290 and it's a bit better, almost bearable!
Was thinking of getting the airstriker but the 38mm's spigot is bigger by 3mm OD is 44 on TMS I think,I didn't want to start messing with the boots but I guess I could Fab a adaptor for it,maybe they sell one for just such a swap cuz a TMX is the size of TMS. Any comments on this would be appreciated,

i would avoid a mikuni carb at all costs .........sudco .com has boots of every size out the wazoo ,get a keihin your sanity will thank you

I ran a 38mm Mikuni on my blaster for couple of months...It was a pain in the ass to keep the jetting right. I got my 38mm Airstryker the other week...Awesome design.
