Default what's a good carb for 400 2 stroke

what's a good carb for 400 2 stroke about 38mm to replace mikuni T M S,ATK 406 doesn't run good in till about 1/4 to 3/8 throttle it's really boggy then finally takes off any advice would be appreciated,

38 or 39mm. I run a Keihin 38mm on my 400.

thats rather odd ,explain to me how theres a increase i n torque by using the mikuni over the keihin of the same size ? specificly what about the design increases the torque over the airstryker?

all i know is taht the tmx is designed for torque, and ive used both the airstryker and a tmx and had better luck with the tmx, dont ask me for technical stuff im just talking from my experience

Keihn 38 airstryker or Keihin 39 PWK should work great.

and flotek, just look at the modern dirtbikes, almost all of them use a tmx, and tons of sleds use them too, why dont you like them

the pwk lineup is easier to jet and offers engoug h adjustability for a wide variety of uses i dont hink the tmx is really a bad carb... just not one of my personal favorites ,theres actually too muc h adjustability and yo u can be off ...yes alot of bikes use the m but alot of big name compnaies use things i n stock form that really suck too and ultimatly get replaced .most poeple know how to jet and give adcise on keihins
i liek the chrome plated d slide design for response and the airfoil leadins toward the needle... lots of good ideas on the keihins
