Default Mikuni/Keihin jet size difference

OK guys, I was wondering what the difference in sizes between the 2 carb manufacturers are. When I got the zilla the guy siad it was jetted a little rich. Not that I believe him or anything, haha. but anyways, the Keihin PWK 39 that is on it has a 170 main. Just for laughs, I pulled the plug out of the bottom of the stock carb I have for it (mikuni 38mm) and its got a 420 main in it. they look like the same size jet, but looks can be decieving when your talking .001mm. I was just curious.

.001mm is called a micron ,its 39 millionths of an inch so thats not the right # lol
its a totally different incremental number setup than keihin uses. 160 main and 60 pilot is factory stock for that series carb . on my ported 87zilla i ran a 175 main and 62 pilot ,and it ran okay like that , but i pawned it off soon after i got the 39pwk carb so i didnt really tweak her in.i would think the 175 would be very close to a 400 main on the mikuni tm38 flatslide stock zilla carb .so in reality hes right , it is prejetted a bit rich for a pipe and open filter ,cause the kehin sizes are very small increments of 2 numbers versus the mikunis sizes
