carb question

Have 83 kdx200 two stroke. Bike runs but will not idle. Changed reed already. Does carb need rebuild or should I replace it? Thanks

take it apart and clean it and after words adjust your airscrew and idle screw

Did you check your reeds?

I put new reeds in. I also took the carb apart and cleaned it out. I tried using using the idle screw on the outside of carb but it does nothing. Any suggestions
