Default jetting

got a fatty and powercore pipe......at fmf the recomended jetting for my lt250r is:

main jet : 240
pilot jet : 37.5

now,..this is for a 70° f ..1500ft....and 32:1 mix ratio..........


question..:...me i do 50:1 mixing ratio.....does the jetting change or i can use the same jet (as listed above)??

also...the needle position : 3rd.........on my needle i have 4 position available..where is the first positon.??.. buttom...or.......top????

I have found very little diference in premix ratio and jetting. When i switched to Amsoil I went to 50:1 and did a plug test a couple of times and it was still fine. So if all u changed was your ratio u should be ok. And u need to hurry it up with those pics

That is just reccomended jetting and will be close. If you want it right you will have to jet for your specifics. I'm running a 300 main (but on a 35mm mikuni TMX), so I tend to think that a 240 is too lean.
