Thumbs down air/fuel screw setting 4mm banshee

4mm stroker banshee, cool head,V force 3,CPI drag pipes,+5 timing, full drag port,35mm Keihin carbs,K&N filters, running Benoil and race fuel.Im wondering were the air/fuel screw on the carbs should be set aprox. My bike was just built not long after riding with a friend he said it was running to rich because it smoked a little i dont trust his judgement, the next thing I know he is turning the air/fuel screw on my carbs. Now I am worried it may be running lean because when I start the bike and clean out the smoke it does not smoke at all when I run it or at idle, when before it always had a hint of smoke coming out the pipes.I asked him what the original setting was before he made adjustments and he said 2 1/2 turns out from screwed all the way in,which he has opened more.Anyway I havent rode it since then just to be safe

check your plugs...if its running lean they would be a white or very light brown. they should be brown like chocolate or a dark tan .
