Left Carb Problem

Ive taken them apart 4 times already.Cleaned them 4 times.Im pretty sure its the floats but how to i fix them if they r off?

i would check the shut off valve first before you go and start bending things. make dissasemble the float and shut off valve. make shure there is nothin blocking the path of the valve. one time i found a small pebble in the fuel inlet track of my cr250 carb that allowed it to overflow when the valve could not shut.

Whats the shut off valve is it the little thing right under the floats?

yeah. its connected to the float close to the hinge. looks like a small pice of wire that holds it on. the pin that holds the floats on presses out. then it will just kinda fall apart. you will see. when you have it off hit it with some air, blow it out real good.

So the thing that the floats press down is there anyway of taking that off to clean inside it?

the float hinge pin presses out to one side. the float and valve will come off after this is removed. attached pic might help.

hey ineedgas.. hit that carb with a rubber mallet a few times while it's leaking.... you'd be amazed what kind of repair a rubber mallet whack can fix.... i'm actually not joking... sometimes thos stocker carbs just need a good jarring to motivate them.... i've fixed a few of them that way
