Default Blaster carb questions

I just rebuilt a blaster and the air and feul ration is messed up i think i can only get it to run for like 3 seconds and it puts out alot of white smoke. In my book it say to adjust pilot screw and then it also says to adjust air screw are they the same thing? i set the pilot screw to the standard settings and it still isnt working. Anyone got any ideas?

air screw should be 1 and 1/2 turns out from close. there is a pilot jet but im not sure of a pilot screw. could just be different terms for different people. if your having other problems i'd suggest also looking for air leaks around the carb boot.

(an alright method to check this out is spray some carb cleaner around the area of the boot and if the motor bogs down, when you do that, that means the spray is getting into the motor. which means its sucking air.....now don't spray alot, and wipe it off when your done because some types may break down the rubber.)

if that isn't the problem let us know your needle clip position, your mods, and what main jet your running
