| You need to check the floats and make sure they are not sticking and make sure they are adjusted correctly.

| well do you know what my problem would be? i try to adjust the float and it will either leak or it wont let any gas get into the bowl. the needle and seat are new so it shouldnt be that.

| OK, I'm going to hazard a guess that you have an automatic choke. The choke will make your mix richer until the engine warms up.. like a manual one. These days though, the choke adds fuel to the mix instead of 'choking' the air intake. The problem is pretty definitely something to do with the float valve, but the whole cold start issue is due to your auto-choke. I too have auto-choke troubles, and as a matter of fact I have a manual chove lever on its way to help me out :-) Good luck mate, all I can suggest is clean out the float bowl and ensure the needle is correctly seated. |

| I know it sounds weird but are the fuel lines sitting properly? I've had fuel lines that were on a angle to the carb and they would just pour the fuel right out the bowl lines.. Once I fixed how they were sitting they have yet to leak... Just something to check into maybe...Good Luck! |
