Whats your dream car? Mine would have to be the Maxda-Rx7. I like the 3rd generation ones with the twin turbo and rounded body style. And how can you forget that Wankel powerplant.

I just went to the Chapparal museum and saw all the Jim Hall cars he had. Purdy cars too as well as one of the most innovative race car designers ever. The 'sucker car' was there, the 'yellow submarine', Chapparal european endurance cars, moveable wing cars, every example he made. Unlike the original GT40's, Halls cars were 'one offs' with no other examples in the world. In race car parlance, a really priceless display.

Another car that was nice was the Lola T-70 in the coupe and topless version.

Now I am really showing my age!!!! chit

Showing my age?? Yea the 427 cobra is one badass car! Its so damn light and with that big 427 motor in it im sure it kicked some major ass, and like you said, it looks really good. I see the kit cars at car shows all the time but very rarly do i see the real thing, only a couple times. I also like the GT500 and the GT350 mustangs.

i have to agree with ya on the GT-40's, but i am extremely fascinated with the Wankel rotory engine. Think about it, its a 1.3liter engine that can crank out over 400h.p. Also, the rx-7 is extremely affordable compared to the GT-40, so i guess you could say that its a dream car that would be practicle to own. Thats cool you guys have taste, i'm glad no one say a ferrari or lambourgine...those aren't practicle at all, or tastefull.
