Default 1st gen. Camaro or Firebird?

I had a 1968 Firebird and my wife had a 1967 Camaro RS. I like the Birds better and would take one over a Camaro anyday. What do you guys think?

I like the birds as they are a more rare speciman. But the camaro's are worth more.

69 was the first year that cowl hoods were offered as an option. The hideaway headlights were a major pain in the ass. 67's were electronic operated. The 68 and 69 models were vacuum operated and rarely worked worth a shit. Factory vacuum tanks were to small.

The wifes Camaro had hideaway headlights that worked perfectly. It also had factory A/C that blew cold and SS interior with the triple gauges on the console. I liked my 68 Firebird cause it was the only year with the full chrome nose.

Nothing beats the old RS/SS Camaros. I love the looks of the old Camaros. I think the only year the Firebird looked really good was the newest LS1 WS6.

Camaro all the way! I'd love to have a 67 for the dragstrip & a 69 for the streets & a long cruise down PCH.
