I'm a car and truck nut....

I'd like to see what everyone has... whether pics, vids, both...

I have had many cars over the years, but basically there are 3 cars I can do inside and out at this point, and do a lot of side work on. Turbo 2.3L Fords, 5.0s, and most of all 86-87 GN/TTypes.. I owned a bunch of them Buicks. Everyone should own a GN at least once in their life IMO. Anyways....

My current and probably last 1/4 mile project:

A 1984 Mustang SVO. Aside from getting the TQ boxes welded, I have done everything on this car, and it was BONE stock when I got it. It should be in the low 11s this spring still on the original 4 banger shortblock. I would like to crack a 10.90 but i'm doubting it.

Recently I sold a 1987 Cougar LS that I converted to a 2.3L Turbo and five speed. Only mods were a 3" downpipe and exhaust, a cone, adjustable regulator, ported stock ex manifold by me, and 18 psi up from the stock 14.. Car was full weight, fully loaded and heavy.

vs a stock 05 Mustang GT 5 speed My clutch was slipping bad in 4rth but no excuses I lost..
Vs. a bone stock '03 Mach I I had less mods when I raced the Mach.. stock downpipe and only 15 psi.

Anyways, what have you guys got, or had in the way of perf cars or trucks....

Very nice though man. I wish i had a toy i could just tinker with like that. Id like to do some stuff to mine so i can get into the 12's but i cant risk my daily driver.

I havent gotten to race anyone yet. I just have bassani exaust on it. I have yet to put on the Jlp traction bars. I plan to put a 4lb pulley on it in the future. Im trying to stay away from performance mods.

Those are some nice sleds you guys have. I have been out of the car scene for about 3 years now. My last car was a 91' Z28 T-Top. I've had alot of other cars in the past. Always wanted to go fast but never had the cash to do it. I still want a 60's Nova 2dr some day.

YZSVO, I remember reading a HotRod magazine years ago where a shop teacher at a high school had a poisonous Pinto with a 4 banger and snail combo in the 10's of course he was on the bottle but he had all the parts listed about the motor. I threw a bunch of the mag's out but kept some of them. I will look and see if it's still around.

Rajun Cajun - thats a sweet Lightning, always liked them. That 05 GT is quick he ran 13.80s with it and it's box stock, which surprised all of us. The Cougar was weird it would pull like a freight train to about 90 MPH then run out of steam, I think it was in need of some valve springs, and, it had the smaller .48 T3 turbo from an automatic Turbo Coupe which probably hurt top end some.

Mxer - I think you are talking about Joe Morgans Pinto, i'd love to see the article he's a really nice guy have talked to him a few times when needing advice.

Sold the Z28 to buy the Raptor. Have the truck lined up to sell next week to buy a 250 haha.
