mixing 2 types of oil?

ok well since the search button isnt working for me, i thought id ask. Would it be possible to mix 2 types of 2 stroke oil, such as amsoil and yamalube? amsoil is too expensive for a full mix but yamalube is cheap, would it be possible to mix the two and run it?

well i know i have like 3 different types of lube in my shed, with not quite enough to mix 5 gallons. i dont know the answer to this thus i always end up buying a new bottle.

i dont think i'd REALLY prefer it especially if you have a lot of time and $$$ in your bike.
but if you dont give a shit...i guess lube is lube.

Ok my understanding is you can mix some oils. You cant mix an oil like yamalube with a bean oil. You can mix a sample together, and it will be very obvious that you cant. I have had to mix in my snowmobile one time when I ran out of gas, I didnt have a problem, but have always been told not to. I personally wouldnt do it if it were me. Oil is cheap in the grand sceam of things. Just my opinion.

I've done exactly that but not like half and half. Just ran thew tank sorta low on Yamalube and then went to AMS. It worked fine.

AS long as you dont mix synthetic and non synthectic your ok! Same for your pre-mix!!
