| I didnt remove the basket so I didnt think that should make a differance guess i could try to adjust the basket shouldnt that only have up to a certain point to travel to like it rides agains a serface??? |

| well new clutchs are thicker. So the thicker clutches will push the pressure plate further away from the inner hub. Therefore the push rod will need to be screwed in further. lol i hope i got that right. i dunno could be it. lol |

| ok so today I took it apart again and adjusted the pushrod all the way in and still no luck so what I did was remove the dampener ring because it was bent to begin with. and wont fit inside the inner diameter of the friction plate would the clutch thickness matter that much from oem to aftermarket. how important is the dampener ring clutch seems good now |
