Default blaster clutch

I have A new clutch in my blaster and when I installed it I couldnt get the pointer to line up with the pointer on the case. I got it close but still sitting ahead on the front side of the case mark so I removed the washer in between just to get it close. so I had to adjust at the handlebars all the way out????? So when its in 1st I pull the clutch rev the engine and it lurks forward any ideas on haw to solve these problems Im thinking about changing the oil even though its fresh.

well new clutchs are thicker. So the thicker clutches will push the pressure plate further away from the inner hub. Therefore the push rod will need to be screwed in further. lol i hope i got that right. i dunno could be it. lol

ok so today I took it apart again and adjusted the pushrod all the way in and still no luck so what I did was remove the dampener ring because it was bent to begin with. and wont fit inside the inner diameter of the friction plate would the clutch thickness matter that much from oem to aftermarket.
how important is the dampener ring clutch seems good now
