My friend has it on his 2000 banshee. It is nice because it's very smooth and easy to pull even with heavier springs in the basket. It's also very easy to adjust with a knob at the lever. I think it uses a mineral oil. I'll look to see if I can zoom in on any of the pics I have of his to show it to you better. If not I'll try to get some closeup pics of it next weekend when I'm there.

Here's 2 pics of the part you need to mount by the arm. I don't have any pics that are really clear of the lever though. Maybe I'll try to clear one up tomorrow. I'm beat tonight so I'm hittin the sack! I think I figured out why the banshee died. A ground wire looks like it's disconnected by the CDI box. Hopefully it didn't screw anything up. I'll figure that out tomorrow

They are nice yet not at the same time. The pull is sweet but you lose the mechanical feel with the hydralic clutch. If that doesnt bother you then they are worth every penny.

Also props to waiting for the good stuff. Save up for the good shocks otherwise you will regret it later and still want them and think shit only another couple hundred and I could have had those.

(repost)
I've been looking around and i have came across a Magura Hydraulic Clutch, but i haven't seen any for the lt's 250/500. Is there another quad out there that has the same length clutch cable as the 87+ lt250r? Correct me if i am wrong but i think the hydraulic lines are made out of plastic. Could a guy just replace the plastic lines with something better.

I think the problem would be where the end of the cable that attaches to the clutch arm mounts. On my friend's banshee there was a bracket that you attached to the top of the case. Just fabricating a bracket to fit on an lt would probably work. I'll see if I have any pics I can zoom in on the bracket since my friend sold that quad.
