Default Windows Browser

Which do you reccomend?

You guys ever heard of the term Exploder for Explorer? Not sure how much is true but many don't recommend it not AOL Explorer.

Anyone here work with Mozilla Firefox? I downloaded it last night but I didn't like it much.. I couldn't find a Favorites File to save my links..
Also tried to instal Adobe Flashe Media Player to watch some E2S videos but it didn't happen for me.
It requested for me to shut down Mozilla Firefox to run it, so I guess that's not going to work for me.

What are your thoughts?

I have used Explorer since the dawn of the internet and without any issues. My home page is MSN.com

Internet Explorer 7 is FINALLY catching on.

Firefox is a 100X better than IE. The only downside is it doesn't display less than 5% of the pages out on the web, depending on how they're coded...
And you can't do Cisco GUI programming with Firefox.

Your favorites file from IE, by default, is C:\Documents and Settings\**Your User name here**\Favorites

The import function on Firefox should find it easily. Once you get a few add ins (free downloads, open source) you'll never use IE again. Tabbed browsing might be finally available on IE7, but it was available for Opera and Firefox a LONG time ago....

You can install all the same plug ins for Firefox. Java, Flash...etc.
It only requests you to close and restart firefox to run them.

Wow, 100 views for a tucked away forum with 2 responses!
Good stuff, I'll take another stab at the Firefox tonight & see if I can adapt to it.
I requested AOL as my homepage but it wasn't there when I restarted... prob user error lol...

Thanks!

There are far too many security issues with IE. Does anyone ever notice that sometimes a page will not load, and at the bottom it will say this page has encountered some errors with the little yellow icon? Thats because microsofts security cannot recognize some of the stuff on the page to verify it and it blocks it and tells you there is an error in the page.

I have yet to come up with that in FF, I believe the security is much better, infact I know it is.

Just some food for thought.
