Default Lookin for a mini BNC to USB cable

Alright you puter savy guys. I'm looking for a special download cable for my Digatron gauge. It has to be a mini BNC on one side to USB on the other.
Digatron wants $65 for theirs . I find this unreasonable since it prolly cost them $5 to make. Any help is appreciated!

Yeah they do but don't have your puter serviced there, they're very well known for installing old stuff [prob refurbished] and charging for brand spanking new stuff.
At times I just go there to play video games on their 52" Plasma setups!

That sounds odd. A BNC is like a F connector in a little different configuration, like your cable on your TV. So that would make it two wire communication. So if you know the pin out on the USB side you can make your own. It should be the middle pair. Just need some RG179 and a BNC, or a USB and cut the end off. It can be done, just will take some time.

That's what a bnc is ^
You guys know what coax looks like, think smaller gauge- mini bnc. I'm thinkin the only difference between bnc and the tv cable is bnc have a twist on and off connector.
I'd rather not make my own, but thanks for the suggestion. My luck i'd fry the only computer I have.
Of course I did some searching before I started this thread. It's such an odd combo.
Digatron might have got me on this one

Just for clarification what is on your cable for the TV is called a "F connector" and uses the actual center conductor for connectivity and threads on. The BNC which comes in many different sizes of cables and connectors uses a separate center conductor that is added to the center conductor of the cable and is a bayonet latching shell.

It's only two wires. You can do it. Put the screws to Digatron.
