Digital Production

Wondering if anyone here has experience with Digital Production Music Programs?
Looking into making my own music & I'll need something with multiple tracks & I mean alot.
I want all the editing features by the dozens.. Sampling, chopping, pitch controll, sound effects down to a Q. I want it all..
Would also like it to incorporate some anlalog equipment.. So if you have the experience, let me know wutcha rockin with!

I haven't been doing the dj gig for a while & don't plan on going back to it. Got tired of that same ol Hollywood gig lifestyle.
Just wanna mesh up some stuff at home!

The best is ProTools.

I used Cubase SX for a long time, and still do sometimes. ProTools is the industry standard.

Some good advise. If you think you will stick to using digital recording equip, buy the best you can afford. The software is the core of the whole thing.

Thanks bro.. I rather something like Cubase, that will do more than enough.. I want to do more production vs more studying..
It seems Pro Tools will keep my head in the books for a while. Have you worked with PT before?

So wut setup do you have going? I mean I have a laptop & good sounds but that's it. What other software & hardware would you suggest? Thanks!
