After the last picture i buffed it up for about an hour.
it looks great! definitely a game of patience...
estimated time was about 4-5 hours. still working
on it cause im a perfectionist and have to have it
perfect haha.

that was my problem too....i tried some banshee clutch covers, and polished my quadzilla stator and clutch covers and throttle box cover too....I did mine a little different than you, I left the black around the edge and between the suzuki lettering, i thought it looked cool like that

in a way this is similar to porting engines ,once you learn the process and wha tworks best at what speed you can cut time and remove most of those pesky tool marks but youll need the right abrasive at the right RPM and with the right lubrication .....thats where it takes years of trial and error
