Polish them and then have them powdercoated in clear...Will shine great and you can wash the dirt right off without having to polish again...

damn thats a good idea, i might just have to do that, but i might be P/Cing over the chrome on my arms and swinger so i wouldnt do it then, but i dont know if ill do that

if you get a new set of nerfs it makes it alot easier to polish them.. i mirrored one of my nerfs and kept it that way for less then 10 mins. all the scratches show up in the sun...
that powder clear sounds like a good idea tho.

NEVER use clear coat powdercoat on anything that will com in contact with: Gas, Carb clean or any other petro product. It will eat away at the clear coat & it will look like a very bad coat of wood varnish. Im speaking from experience.

I polished mine. I didn't spend alot of time sanding or buffing, just used some Mothers, since they do get a lot of wear. They look pretty good. I hit them with some more Mothers after every wash. But then again, I also don't run them all the time either.

ya if i get new pro pegs, then i think i will try it, but i might get blackline pro pegs, because those are pretty much guarantied to always look sexy lol

I've spilled gas all over my clear and have never had a problem....
