you'll still have to go back over them with some kind of polish once in awhile, otherwise the aluminum will start to oxidize

Yah it would look mint, but thats alot of work to polish them, but worth it if you have that kinda time/patience. You can keep them shinning if you clean them with mothers all the time, my cousin did his and he kept it up for a while but then he got lazy and now they dont shine anymore.
