thats the base coat just to give a general idea, the second coat will be candy midnight saphier with prizm flakes in it

i do the prep work for my uncle at his body shop, im learning so i can do it in the near future. we do some custom paint jobs and have all kinds of candy and pearl paint left over.

yes it is i call it the tuba pipe its huge and loud lol

its not a hard process as far as makin the paint stick. i use scotchbrite or 320 for new and slightly scrached plastics. but you can work some of the deeper scratches down with like 80 or 120, and use primer to even it back out then water sand with a higher grit paper. then wash it and wipe it down with wax and grease remover, seal it and paint. of course its easier say than done sometimes lol.
and as fars curing we dont have a paint booth at the shop but we dont need one cuz its usually hot enough to cure the paint in a few hours, that is enough to start workin with it (buffing,etc).
but mine will be done at the dealership in the booth cuz its damn cold down here now lol.
