anodizing

anyone have engine parts anodized? i heard anodizing cast aluminum doesn't work very well, it has to be billet.

i tried to have ny case's done and various other things. it would not take to much silica in the casting's. it will take the anodizing just not the color process of it.

billet or higher quality is a must.

on my kx250f i have my valve cover and ignition cover (left side) anodized green. looks great. The ignition cover is a little beat up though from switching gears and stuff.
