| best thing to do is get a few tutorial vids for beginners from a few of the well known airbrushers. OBSERVE others while they work to get visuals on how things are done. and for flames, get a set of stencils. yeah yeah, stencils. but its harder than that. they are just cut edges to give each flame lick a specific shape, and to get hard lines. YOU still have to place the edge around and create a fire scene using the different edges, and place them in good spots so it all flows, and it all has to be shaded in. it isnt like you lay it down and fill it in. its more like putting a jigsaw puzzle together using the basic pieces. if you are artistic, you could look at flame stencils to get an idea of what i mean, and them create your own.

| Don't waist your money on vids or books. Save your monet for paint and better brushes. Or start thinking about a gun to clear the plastic. You just can't airbrush it and that's it. It will come off in a hurry. Search you tube for how to's for airbrushing you will find tons of stuff or search just for certain things on you tube. Visit some airbrush forms. Like wetcanvas airbrush forum, Kustom Kulture Lounge - Launcher, airbrushtech, this is a pretty good one. It has how to's on it. Airbrush Tricks - Learn the tricks of the pros*-*AirbrushTricks. Happy reading I'll warn you you'll get a head ache from all the info. Then good luck for finding people to pay you for a paint job with out doing it for nothing. Shane |

| No problem wish you luck. Doing some for free is a good idea, but after awhile if you get into it real good. You have hours of work into a piece and then when you tell them it's a few grand they just can believe it could be that much. Or if you give them a price they will look at you like your retarded. Just seem to me most people out there looking for custom art work don't want to pay for it and want it for nothing. The only most important advice I can give you is don't get known as someone that does cheap work. Don't sell your soul for a few dollars. After awhile you'll see what I mean. Pretty much why I'm getting out of airbrushing. I'll just keep it a hobby and if a job come out of then fine. I'm just not in a good part of the world for custom artwork. Check out the forums getting paid for our talent is the biggest problem we face. Run into any problems drop me a line and I'll help if I can. My screen name is the same as here on those forums. I mostly just read and help where I can. Out. Shane
